Hail, fellow travellers, and well met. My LJ is mostly for fic, recs, icons, vids and fannish nonsense - fic/vids/icons etc. remain open, but the rest has got largely flocked these days (people were scraping entries via tags, unfortunately). I'm terribly obscure and multi-fannish, but generally happy to make new friends. I crosspost from Dreamwidth, too, but tend to read my flist via LJ.

My fic:

Dear Yuletide Letter 2015 here

Notes on permission: Any remixes etc. based on fanworks of mine are fine - go ahead, and do let me know; I'd be thrilled. And, obviously, credit is nice. No posts made here to be reproduced elsewhere, thanks. If you wish to link to any open posts, of course, please do so!

Friending: New friends are always welcome, but if you'd like me to friend you back and we haven't previously interacted, please drop a comment here so I know who you are, otherwise I'll assume that you merely wanted to add my public entries to your reading circle. (If you're on LJ, please also add me there if you can.)

My fic is now a thing! It's very weird, I know, but hopefully also entertaining, and at last Count Scarlioni has fic. This involved having to rewatch City of Death for research, which, as you must admit, is about as good as research gets. (I also listened to the commentary and Julian Glover wanted to know about Scaroth's love life/lives, so I felt all vindicated for writing weird borderline-shippy fic. I mean, if Julian Glover asked for it, who am I to disoblige? ;-p)

Anyway, my entry for the Minor Characters Ficathon 2017:

Author: [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook
Title: Gothic Romance
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 7369 words
Characters/Pairings: Scaroth | Count Scarlioni/Clara Splinter, Great Intelligence Splinter (plus bonus guest appearances).
Notes/Warnings: For inevitable Clara splinter death, mainly, plus slight forced marriage of convenience dodginess. With many thanks to Persiflage for beta-ing it at short notice. Written for [livejournal.com profile] dw_guestfest 2017; also for the [livejournal.com profile] dw_allsorts prompt “love is done,” [community profile] trope_bingo square “fake relationship,” and [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo square “tentacles.”
Summary: It is a fact universally acknowledged that any beings splintered in time will inevitably run into each other. No law says it has to end well, though…

My other [community profile] hetswap fic was my first ever pinch hit, for [personal profile] glinda, who had included Eight/Charley in their requests, and so I had to try. And incidentally, now my sign-ups to assignments ratio is only one out! (I suppose that means that to keep it correct, now I have to pick up one more pinch hit and that'll fix it.)

So, that was fun, although I feel slightly bad because maybe a better, shippier person would have picked it up if I hadn't foiled them by snaffling it, but oh well.

[community profile] hetswap has been revealed now! My assignment was (in a truly shocking, astonishing, unbelieveable turn of events) for Paranoidangel.

(Although to be fair, usually she gets assigned to me, whereas I think I've only got her once before.)

Anyway, that meant I got to write some B7 Tarrant/Dayna fic (which, lol, was not super-popular over at the fest):

Ghost Lights (4930 words) by lost_spook

In other reading, [community profile] hetswap went live today and I had both my gift fic and an unexpected unofficial gift fic (from ParanoidAngel):

My gift fic, a sweet and funny little Emma Swan/Captain Hook fic:

A Little Blue Bottle (2219 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Once Upon a Time (TV)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Captain Hook | Killian Jones/Emma Swan
Characters: Emma Swan, Captain Hook | Killian Jones, Henry Mills (Once Upon a Time), Evil Queen | Regina Mills, Rumplestiltskin | Mr. Gold, Violet (Once Upon a Time), Prince Charming | David Nolan, Snow White | Mary Margaret Blanchard
Summary: Emma and Killian go on a date, but something gets in the way of enjoying it fully.

And my unofficial, non-anonymous gift, which was much fun and introduced Evelyn and Six to the cake!fic genre, something that was way overdue, all considered:

Chocolate Cake, a Cardigan and a Coat (1173 words) by paranoidangel
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Doctor Who (Big Finish Audio)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Sixth Doctor, Evelyn Smythe
Additional Tags: Cake, Cake Fic Meme, chocolate cake, Lemon Drizzle Cake
Summary: The Sixth Doctor and Evelyn find themselves chained together and covered in chocolate cake.

So, that was very nice, all round & I enjoyed a few of the other stories in the collection, too.

A while back, [livejournal.com profile] hyarrowen and I were clearly having like thoughts on Major Richter & Dr Martel-related hurt/comfort, and I finally got my idea to work. So, for [livejournal.com profile] hyarrowen, [community profile] trope_bingo square "hurt/comfort" and [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo square "accept injury to protect someone," and set post-canon somewhere in the winter of 1944/45:

I wrote a fic for this year's New Year's Resolutions, for [personal profile] calliopes_pen, because I'd been trying to think of something a little more Jonathan-centric (although everybody else still got in on the act; I can't help it!) and also reflecting on the differences between the book and the TV adaptation and this bit of pre-canon exploration happened:

1. I decided that there's really no point in trying to catch up with [community profile] snowflake_challenge now. After all, the questions come around each time!

2. Although I didn't write anything for [community profile] fandom_stocking, I did post Chapter One of the Sapphire & Steel fic I've been writing for [personal profile] annariel and [personal profile] kaffyr since last fandom_stocking just to show it is a thing that exists (and hopefully will soon continue). Anyway, Sapphire, Steel and Copper in the 1920s, in a spooky house:

When the Lights Go Out (2797 words) by lost_spook

Summary: It seemed like such a lark, to hold a séance in a haunted house, but what human can bargain with time or death - or even Elements?

3. I was trying to write a letter yesterday for [community profile] hetswap so I can sign up (because that's the only way I get my requests together for these things) and realised I might just as well start it "Dear Paranoidangel..." instead of Dear Author. Unless of course, she doesn't sign up, in which case I may be unmatchable. Heh. We'll see! First I need to get back enough brain to write requests... (I'm sure tomorrow will be betterer!)

4. Thank you for all the [livejournal.com profile] dw_allsorts prompts! I've updated the choice of tables now and you provided some lovely ones! It was very helpful. :-)
lost_spook: (b7 - deva)
I wasn't sure whether to do it again or not, because they do keep re-running the same questions, but I saw that the last time I did was 2014, so here goes:

[community profile] snowflake_challenge Day 1:

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Looking back brought me to my two previous answers to this question and I had been thinking that maybe I should self-rec something different than obscure fics I write that nobody else will read, but I realised that I still go yes inside at my choices for the last two, and that's kind of an odd but nice record to have. My answers for this questions are the fics that mean a lot. (I don't know in what way, but they do.)

So, since 2014, what works have I written that also bring out that feeling? It turns out there are conveniently three main candidates (although I'd like to also talk about the origfic, of course, but I won't. ;-p) And since they're an AU, a fic centring on a minor character, and post-canon for a thing that is at least based on a very well-known story, I think they're all reasonably accessible, too. Or, well, hope springs eternal.

Light on a Hill (3166 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Spooks | MI-5
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Ruth Evershed/Tom Quinn
Characters: Tom Quinn (Spooks), Ruth Evershed, Malcolm Wynn-Jones
Additional Tags: Community: hc_bingo, Identity, Apocalypse, Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, Season/Series 02, Implied/Referenced Character Death, References to Shakespeare
Summary: ”I think the king is but a man, his fears be of the same relish as ours.” It’s the end of days, and Ruth and Tom are having delusions of grandeur, but then, what’s new?

I'd been threatening to write a Spooks apocalypse fic where Tom runs the country and Ruth runs him for around forever. Of course, I waited till the entire fandom had vanished like officers going back into hibernation, but still, I did it. Finally! And I still like it; I still think it's good. Even if it probably shouldn't have involved an alien invasion. (I can't help it sometimes. I'm a Doctor Who fan.) It has no spoilers, although of course, I'm sure it helps to know the characters (Ruth, Tom, Malcolm), though - but then again someone could test read it to tell me? You might not...

Salt of the Earth (4153 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Doctor Who (1963), Doctor Who (2005), Torchwood
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Martha Tyler, Jack Harkness, Original Characters, Twelfth Doctor
Additional Tags: Community: dw_allsorts, Minor Canonical Character(s), 20th Century, Witchcraft, Serial: s094 Image of the Fendahl, Women Being Awesome, Folklore, Community: dw_guestfest
Summary: Martha Tyler lives on a time rift, sees things no one else does, and fights evil with rock salt. It’s been that way all her life.

... and I had also been threatening for years to write that fic where Mrs Tyler from Image of the Fendahl lives on a rift all her life and is way more awesome than Torchwood, because she does, and she is. And I did, for the first Minor Characters Ficathon I ran. The character in question is so obscure and this is mostly backstory, so again, I don't think you need to know too much really; much less so than for Light on a Hill. A basic knowledge of what Doctor Who is and its kind of universe helps naturally, but it's probably pretty easy to get the idea of. I hope so, anyway. (It's kind of not unlike some of my Miss Marple fic, I suppose, but with more aliens and the supernatural getting defeated instead of murderers. Although I feel sure Mrs Tyler wouldn't be having with them, either.)

The Poison Tree (27259 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 7/7
Fandom: Dracula (TV 1968)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Major Character Death
Relationships: Jonathan Harker/Mina Harker, Count Dracula/Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker & John Seward, Jonathan Harker & John Seward, Jonathan Harker/Original Male Character(s)
Characters: Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker, John Seward, Mrs Weston, Mrs Perkins (Dracula TV 1968), Mrs Hoskins (Dracula TV 1968), Original Characters
Additional Tags: References to Mina Harker/Lucy Weston, Vampires, Hypnotism, Post-Canon, World War I, Victorian, Edwardian Period, Blood, Yuletide, Dark, Religious Imagery & Symbolism
Summary: Dracula may have been defeated, but the future has never been less certain for Jonathan and Mina. Everything has changed, most especially the Harkers themselves…

My Yuletide 2016 assignment. It became a lot more than I intended, not only in the word count and I think it's genuinely good. I hope it is - it's a more recent effort than the other two. But I think so; I hope so. I know the feeling when a fic gets into this category and when it doesn't. And it's been read by at least two people who only knew the book, so I don't think canon is essential (and I have a few small, (hopefully) helpful author's notes at the start).
lost_spook: (I Capture - writing)
And so my treats. I wrote the first for [personal profile] calliopes_pen, chiefly in a hopeless attempt to remain anonymous, so that she might at least wonder which one was me. (I had vague plans for a rather different one, but I got seized by this idea while reading through her likes in the letter):

Additional Tags: Yuletide Treat, Implied/Referenced Mind Control, Dark
Summary: Some personalities are magnetic, they exert an irresistible pull on others.

Then there were two prompts in particular that jumped out at me this year, the first being Wasuremono's great prompt about Miss Marple being a goddess, the genius loci of St Mary Mead, which I obviously had to write:

The Spirit of St Mary Mead (4005 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Miss Marple - Agatha Christie
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply

Summary: St Mary Mead has had an unusual guardian down through all these centuries.

The second was for moemachina, about Feste & Olivia from Twelfth Night. As I've loved Feste since I did the play for A-Levels mumble years ago, I couldn't resist. I had an idea, but then remembered that writing Shakespeare fic is TERRIFYING. So I watched BBC TN twice in a row, found some 16th C jokes and riddles on the internet, built my fic around those and then went for it. And then typed it up while mentally going LALALA not writing Shakespeare etc. Happily, it seems to have got some really lovely comments, so I clearly didn't mess it up too badly.

That done, I decided to write a couple of treats for Madness if I could, but the Adam Adamant Lives! fic for Liadt grew large enough for the main collection, even if it was probably too frivolous for Yuletide (and I don't think Liadt was fooled by my anonymity for a minute, either):

Additional Tags: Yuletide Treat, Cake Fic Meme, Cake, Humor, Hijinks & Shenanigans, I was going to label this crack, and then thought soberly about canon, and didn't
Summary: Mr Adamant suffers a truly traumatic incident at a village gala. Unfortunately for him, Georgie is on hand to help...

And lastly, this tiny bit of post-canon for Gerry and Sandra from New Tricks, for Dynapink:

With many thanks to Pers who patiently beta-ed all three full treats and a second beta of my long assignment! (Those who have been around these parts a while: I think you can probably already guess which one got the influential rec. Oh, yes. It is my fate, my doom, my only claim to fame.)

I wrote several things this year but my actual assignment was for [personal profile] calliopes_pen in Dracula (TV 1968):

The Poison Tree (27258 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 7/7
Fandom: Dracula (TV 1968)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Major Character Death
Relationships: Jonathan Harker/Mina Harker, Count Dracula/Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker & John Seward, Jonathan Harker & John Seward, Jonathan Harker/Original Male Character(s)
Characters: Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker, John Seward, Mrs Weston, Mrs Perkins (Dracula TV 1968), Mrs Hoskins (Dracula TV 1968), Original Characters
Additional Tags: References to Mina Harker/Lucy Weston, Vampires, Hypnotism, Post-Canon, World War I, Victorian, Edwardian Period, Blood, Yuletide, Dark, Religious Imagery & Symbolism
Summary: Dracula may have been defeated, but the future has never been less certain for Jonathan and Mina. Everything has changed, most especially the Harkers themselves…

I both enjoyed writing this a lot (despite surface dissimilarities, we clearly overlap on a lot of tropes and things, which made it particularly fun to do) and worried about it far too much! Par for the course for Yuletide, really, I suppose. The adaptation has a rather open, ambiguous ending (Mina is still showing vampiric influence, while we don't even know what sort of state Jonathan is left in), so it was really interesting to try and write one possibility of what might happen next. I planned it to be somewhere around 8,000-12,000 words - and then it more than doubled in size, taking me way outside my current comfort zone in what I can do without making myself ill. I regret nothing, though. Except that it doesn't have even more stuff calliopes_pen likes in it.

Some ramblings about writing it )

And some rambling thoughts on reading Dracula for it )

And I'll have to go and rest now, so I'll post the treats in another post later.

* The upshot of this is that now I want fic about the housekeepers. The housekeepers are great, even if it took me ages to get their actual names straight! Mrs Hopkins is not fazed by anything! (She works in an asylum; fair enough) and Mrs Perkins bosses Mrs Weston about all the time. And they're both tiny and fierce! (O, Network, when will you run to subtitles on your releases?)

** I have to say, The Woman in White must surely have been an influence - asylums, wicked counts, Laura and Marian and Lucy and Mina, mesmerism etc. even in addition to the Collins-esque epistolary/evidence-gathering format.
lost_spook: (Northanger reading)
I didn't have as much chance to read the Collection while away this year, but it is just as full of lovely things as ever, and you can find it all here. Dive in!

However, I did manage to read some short things, so here they are, just nipping in before reveals - my two wonderful gifts, plus a rather random selection of my first pick at the chocolate box, as it were, chosen in exactly that sort of manner! I hope to have a more leisurely go-through in the coming week or two, though.

16 recs in Archer's Goon, Blandings, Discworld, Dracula (TV 1968), Dungeons & Dragons (Cartoon), Fire & Hemlock, Flood (2007), Georgette Heyer, Malory Towers, New Tricks, Red Dwarf, While You Were Sleeping & Yes Minister )

1. I've just done a friending meme and even actually managed to friend new people (I asked some of them myself!) (hi, new flisters!) and now of course, I am off to my parents' for Christmas, where internet access will be variable and most likely reading rather than commenting. Sorry about that.

Also because the next few posts following this will very likely be the one where I'm not here but I have to mention my Yuletide gift, the one where I'm back but exhausted, and then a wave of Yule-recs. So, um, yes, welcome? I will try and do something properly introductory in the New Year, though.

But I hope everyone who is celebrating Christmas has a lovely one, and anyone not celebrating manages to have a nice week despite any unwanted festivities! ♥

2. I nearly managed to finish the last writing meme before I went (because if I don't now, I won't) but I embarrassingly ran out of spoons with one left to go. (Sorry last person; once I cross that line, I cross that line. It was accidental!) I will have another writing meme soon enough, I'm sure. I might even get through all the prompts next time.

And here are the last three:Under the cut so as not to take up too much space )

My now-regular Thursday feature! (We'll see how long this lasts. ;-p)

1. For some reason I'd been feeling a bit down the last couple of days, but you know what is always at least a little bit cheering at such moments? Multi-era Doctor Who fanvids. I was cheering myself with Marching On by xxdrosexx and then wondering why I didn't have any yet that went up to Twelve, so I went looking, and found this, which is also great:

Cut for embed )

Because Doctor Who is, after all, that great big improbable and ridiculous thing of joy and monsters. :-)

And I'm continuing to enjoy watching (or reading) from the sidelines as the Public Call fics get revealed, so here's two more good ones:

2. A Taste of Home by dbskyler (G, 1784 words. Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith, Harry Sullivan.) Sarah, the Doctor, and home. Lovely glimpse of some 'missing scenes' from Terror of the Zygons.

3. Side Quest by annariel (G, 6388 words. Harry Sullivan, Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith.) Harry is collecting equipment for the Doctor when he runs into an adventure of his own. Can he foil the evil Dr. Richards, while at the same time helping the Doctor and Sarah fend off an alien invasion they somehow never quite have the time to explain properly to him? Excellent missing adventure, with Harry getting to prove his worth.

4. The Terrible Doom That Came To Honeysuckle Cottage by Psychomachia (Teen, 2592 words.) There's a saying old says that love is blind
Still we're often told, seek and ye shall find
So I'm going to seek a certain lad I've had in mind.
One of the best and funniest fics to come out of last year's Yuletide: the Cthulhu Mythos meets P.G. Wodehouse's Honeysuckle cottage. (Definitely a don't-need-to-know-canon fic.)

5. By Wise Council You Shall Make Your War by beer_good_foamy (Teen, 722 words. Edmund Blackadder, George Colthurst St. Barleigh, Baldrick, Bob. Crossover with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.) In each generation, a Slayer is born. She alone will stand against the etc etc. In 1917, that was a young woman named... um... Bob? Good thing the Watcher's Council have an auxiliary member already in place in the trenches. What it says, oh yes, oh yes. :-D

My currently regular Thursday feature...

OUaT: Browned Butter by awanderingbard (G, 1956 words. Emma Swan/Killian Jones, Snow White, Regina Mills, Henry Mills.) It's Storybrooke's first Thanksgiving, and Emma is finding trying to be a domestic goddess more difficult than she anticipated. Sweet and funny, with Emma battling to do something impressive on the domestic front.

Miss Marple: Advice From Aunt Jane by DesertVixen (Teen, 1212 words. Miss Marple, Dolly Bantry, Jane Helier.) Jane Helier needs some advice from Miss Marple and Dolly Bantry Pitch perfect conversation between the three, picking up on threads from The Thirteen Problems.

Doctor Who: At Last a Dragon by paranoidangel (All ages, 985 words. John Chesterton, Tenth Doctor.) John Chesterton doesn't believe in Father Christmas, the Tooth Fairy or the Doctor. John Chesterton finally realises that all the stories his parents told him were real. Lovely.

Heroes: Drive My Car by Andraste (Hiro & Ando, Hiro/Ando.) "Our life of legend begins!" Great, fun vid for S1 Hiro & Ando.

Diana Wynne Jones: World Enough, and Time by jamjar (PG, 5408 words. Erskine, Hathaway, Torquil, Awful, Howard, Catriona.) Perfect capturing of the novel's tone, with the remaining siblings starting to both mend their ways and move about more freely.

I was feeling a bit down and so thought of doing this as maybe an occasional thing: here are five nice things I've bookmarked recently:

Third Time Pays For All by JohnAmendAll (G, 922 words, Lucy Weston/Mina Harker/John Seward.) Lucy had been vaguely expecting a confession of a clandestine love affair between her fiancé and her best friend. The truth was far stranger.

Written for me in a recent meme, this is a lovely Dracula TV 1968 fic from the prompt Lucy/Mina/John & timeloops.

Appropriately enough, two very excellent DW fics from the [livejournal.com profile] who_at_50 53rd Anniversary Fanworkathon:

The Scientific Method by nonelvis (Teen, 1723 words. Implied Liz/Brig; Liz/Kate Stewart) Five moments in the life of Elizabeth Shaw. Liz, being awesome as ever.

An Offer You Can't Refuse by Shivver (All ages, 4959 words.) Trying to recover an ailing population's stolen medical supplies, the Doctor and Ace come up empty when the smuggler's trail goes cold. Great missing adventure for Seven & Ace (never an offer I can refuse, that's for certain).

Dance Apocalyptic by thingswithwings and eruthros I really really wanna thank you for dancing to the end. Amazing multi-fandom vid about when the world is ending.

I get so used to finding no fic I like when I poke into modern fandoms (just endless fluff and AUs and ships), that I was actually shocked when I looked into Ripper Street on AO3 and found actual multiple good fics. (I suppose it is a fandom where one of the main attractions is its use of language...)

Inspector Reid's Catalogue of Criminals by shyday (G, 6616 words. Edmund Reid, Homer Jackson, Fred Abberline.) An archive fic. Great capturing of the voices - Reid, his obsessions and dreams and his archive project. (set shortly before 3.01).

My Yuletide letter is finally in a better state and only needing some very minor tweaks. Hurrah! And just in time - sign-ups are now open!

I wrote a [livejournal.com profile] runaway_tales AU (so effectively just unconnected origfic) for [community profile] unconventionalcourtship this year (written back in January) but for various reasons, I wound up never posting it for the fest. However, I discovered it fitted a [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo square ("fall from grace"), so I pulled it out again and have now further edited it, tweaked it, had it beta-ed, and finally got the ending more to my liking. I don't imagine it'll be of much interest to anyone, but here it is, nonetheless, and about time, really. (Sorry [personal profile] aralias for all my wibbling back in spring/summer! Hopefully next year will be better. But at least now I get a bingo square too...)

Title: Scandal of the Town
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook
Fandom: Original Work
Pairing/Characters: Julia Graves/Edward Iveson (OFC/OMC)
Rating: Teen
Length: 26,067 words (3 chapters)
Summary: Thanks to one indiscretion, Edward Iveson's life and reputation is in ruins, until Julia Graves comes to his rescue with a proposal of marriage. Edward can hardly turn her down, but what is it that Julia wants from him?

From this summary, although it went seriously off-piste (but [personal profile] aralias kindly said it could still count for the fest. I got carried away with the first line and forgot that the rest of the summary would demand pr0n neither I nor my characters are up to):

138) In the Flesh- Portia Da Costa

Victorian society already believes he’s a scarlet man. Why not become one? Edward’s reputation is in tatters. With scandalous photographs of him being scrutinized by the ton and his brother running them into debt, Edward’s only hope – a respectable marriage – is dashed. Then powerful, wealthy Julia offers an indecent proposal: for one month of hedonistic servitude she’ll pay off his brother’s debts. But nothing can prepare Edward for the worst, for discovering that he enjoys his degradation and delights in the dark fantasies that Julia has awakened. In fact, he’s fast becoming addicted to a life, and a woman, who can never wholly be his…

Notes: Also written for [livejournal.com profile] runaway_tales (prompts "role reversal" and "settle") and [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo square "fall from grace). Some references to suicide and murder. With many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] persiflage_1 for the beta! (♥ Pers!)

I may have unfortunately defaulted (and that feels weird - even the one other time I defaulted on any exchange, I got a treat into the collection in the end) but I still got a lovely gift fic! And here it is. I asked for Janeway fic, and I got this great little piece, with her getting in an argument with her replicator. <3

Small Victories (1785 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Star Trek: Voyager
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Kathryn Janeway
Additional Tags: mentions of everyone else - Freeform, Coffee
Summary: There was only one thing standing in between Captain Kathryn Janeway and her coffee: her malfunctioning replicator

The first two results of the conversational crossover meme. (And years may have passed since the last time I did it, but I still fail on the 'no explanations' part, but I refuse to be sorry for that!)

For [personal profile] swordznsorcery: Evy Carnahan meeting Dayna Mellanby. (Blake's 7/The Mummy):

Entombed )

And for [livejournal.com profile] liadtbunny: Georgina Jones meeting Vila. (Adam Adamant Lives!/Blake's 7).
